Music Therapy

Music therapy is the purposeful use of music, in a relationship of mutual trust, to enhance the quality of life and improve the health of the client's body and mind.

There are many ways of conducting music therapy, including but not limited to: creating improvised music, writing songs, listening to music and imagination, listening to and discussing favourite tracks, musical rhythms, connecting inner emotions through vocals, playing different roles through instruments, understand oneself from different perspectives.

Music can enrich the communication element of the client and deepen the conversation process, so as to know more about oneself. Sometimes it is easier to use sound to express inner feelings than words alone, and it can also touch a wider range of emotions, allowing clients to explore, understand, recognise and express themselves.
